John Wall graduated from the University of Essex (BA Econ) in 1969 and from University of Leeds (Graduate Certificate in Education) in 1970. From 1970-75 he worked as a Lecturer in Economics and Statistics in the City College, Norwich and at Farnborough as a Senior Lecturer until 1992. In 1979 he received an MA in Management from CNAA. During the 1980s he worked as a training Consultant to the Banque Indo-Suez and also the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. From 1986 he was an Associate Lecturer at the University of Surrey, joining the full-time staff in 1992.
Research interests
His main interests are forecasting methods and capital investment appraisal.
