Vasileios Zikos graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Crete in 2002. He then received a Masters degree in Economic Theory and Policy from the same institution in 2003 and a Masters in Economics from the University of Essex in 2005. In the same year he moved to the University of Loughborough to undertake a PhD in Economics. Vasileios joined the University of Surrey as a lecturer in September 2008. His main research interests are in the field of industrial organisation with a particular focus on economics of innovation in relation to collaboration networks, privatisation policy and labour unions.
